Shannon Buhler is a Shawnee, KS native currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BGS in Theatre Performance from the University of Kansas in May 2013.

Shannon is a mezzo-soprano/soprano with training in contemporary music, musical theatre, and classical music. She is a skilled actor, singer, and voiceover artist. Shannon was most recently seen as Mary Jane in "Big River" at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in July of 2014. She was previously seen as a Secretary/Singer in "Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens", directed by Bill Russell, the Baker's Wife in "Into the Woods", and as Electra in "Orestes" at the Oiniades Theatre Festival in Oiniades, Greece (with an encore performance at the University of Kansas).
